>— WELLINGTON CLUB NEWS. Tho Club Pairs contest, under the auspices of tho Wellington Rowing Club, is now finished. In the final between H. M'Kinly's crew and T. Jenkins's, Jenkins won by three lengths. The crew was: Jenkins, C. Murray, L. Williams, J. Bray. Ladder scull racing, has "now started, and several clianges have taken place on the ladder. In the Senior and Junior Fours, the first heat will be rowed on Friday, December 13, and some good finishes are expected. Regatta crews: Only fours have been picked so far, and the double sculls and pairs have still to be selected. ' The maiden fours will now need another stroke, owing to the fact that A. Donaldson is on the "sick list" with a poisoned hand. This is extremely unfortunate, as he has been shaping very well. The junior fours are rowing well together, and are getting plenty of pace out of their boat. All the regatta menaro being put through a hard test in land training, and should go to the post fit.
