THE following Regulations dealing with Luggage, Parcels, etc., placed on Cars will l>3 brought into force ou Monday, 9th December, 1912:— 1. Luggage not exceeding 141b. iu weight, which in the opinion of the Conductor can bs carried on the lap without inconvenience or annoyance to other passenger.? or officials, and providing it conforms with Clause 5 of these regulations, to be carried free of charge. 2. Personal luggage which may be safely carried on tho platforms of cars to be charged 3d. for any distance. Workmen's kits of tools and go-carts and collapsible prams to be carried free. 3. No luggage or parcel, other thau newspapers ,or mails, to Iks allowed on any car unless accompanied by a passenger. 4. Conductors may refuse any article which they consider unsuitable or of an objectionable nature inside or on the platform of a car. 5. Packages of a dangerous or offensive nature, such as explosives, corrosive liquids, meat or fish, or articles liable to soil or damage tho car, passengers' or officials' clothing, such_ as uncovered vessels of oils, paints, sharp-edged metals or tools, must not be accepted for conveyance on passenger cars. 6. Go-carts, collapsible prams, etc., to be carried on rear platforms. Conductors may refuse to carry more than two. 7. In the event of passengers refusing to pay the luggage fee for luggage placed on the platforms of cars, Conductors may, after notifying the owner, remove luggage at a stopping-place. ; 8.
