Nobbs, Director of Agriculture in lihodesiaj is expect.ed in Sydney shortly on a mission of .investigation on several matters concerning live stock and agriculture. Rhodssians have bsen importing large nnmbers • ot stud cattle from England to improve their i herds, but the pr-ESenco of foot-and-mouth i disease in the United Kingdom has put a I stop to this trade, and the principal object of Dr. Nobbs's visit is to ascertain tho prospects of procuring high-class pure-. bred bulls and heifers in Australia to improve both their' dairy and beef cattle.. i'He will also look into .the question of the possibility of importing ordinary cattle from Australia. Another matter which ho has in view is the purchase of re-, mounts for the police. .
