The legal opinion is that Mrs. Nowill predeceased Mr. Delay, the solicitor who committed suicide after bequeathing her .£33,000, and that therefore the legacy is void. • The Coroner said he believed that Delay had treated the woman in a heartless way, but it was improbable that he had forced her over the cliff. Dfelay, a retired Singapore solicitor, committed suicide at Newquay, following the mysterious disappearance of Mrs. Nowill; • . ■
