FORESTERS' CONFERENCE,
(By Tolesraph— Special Correspondent.) Masterton, December 4.. The triennial district conference , of the Ancient Order of Foresters was opened here to-day, about thirty delegates oeing present. Tho conference was occupied during tho whole .day with a discussion on the proposal for the consolidation of the sick and funeral funds. The proposal was eventually negatived by a small The delegates were entertained at a binqtiot in the Club Hotel to-night, when about one hundred persons were present, and a most enjoyablo evening was spent.
