MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION.

By TeleEraph—Press AcEociation—CoDyrfatil (Rec. December 3, 10 J .11.) Adelaide, December 3. After a loud explosion in Hinders Street, two men were 6con running away, and a third man, named Frederick Keys, was found with his hand blown off and his face injured.
The two men wlio had fled ly visited the police station, and gave their, names as Clarke and Cheapo. They stated that Keys'had accused Cheape of familiarities with his wife, a charge which was absolutely groundless. Keys was extremely jealous, and after a little conversation he had remarked: "Now I will settle it!" He then struck a match, and Clarke and Cheape, becoming alarnv ed, ran. They had only gone a fen yards when the explosion occurred.
A parcel of dynamite was found adja/ cent to the spot.
Keys, when assisted after tho explosion, moaned: "They tried to murder me," but efforts to extract something further were fruitless. His condition is critical^
