Mr. Parko paid a tribute to the sporting attitude of the spectators. Ho never played before such a sporting crowd, which applauded good play on both sides equally. If Brookes and Wilding are to play in the next contest he cannot see any hopo for Britain holding tho Cup, and it would come back. Australia had some good schoolboys coming on, and he mentioned three—O'Hara Wood and Patterson and Anderson. If the Cup camo back to Australia, it would bo a long time before it left again. Sir. Beamish, of the English team, commented on the good sportsmanship shown, especially after Britain had won. "It really made us feel," he added, "as if you were glad we had won."
