.QUESTION IN THE COMMONS. % TcleEraDh-Fross Association-Copyright London, December 2. Sir William Bylcs, Liberal member for Salford, in view of Lord Roberts's speeches, asked in the House of Commons for particulars of th'()' ( ;working of compulsory service in Australia; and also whether only 40 per cent, of tho boys of 14 obeyed the order of enrolment. The Secretary for War, Colonel Seely, replied that ho had placed the Commonwealth Parliamentary papers in the library. He was not aware of any general resistance in Australia, to the compulsory clauses. '/
