Two motor-lorries attached to the 59th Company Army Service Corps, returning to Aldershot from the manocuvrea in East Anglia, were wrecked on September '22 at Scott's Hill, Rickmansworth, The lorries were descending the hill when the rear vehicle got out of control and dashing info the lending wagon with great force diverted its course into an iron fence, which, was carried awa.v. A motorcyclist, Mr, ,T. C. Symonds,. who was ascending the hill, had a. narrow escape, ■ his machine being wrecked by the second lorry just after he had jumped from it.
