ANNUAL MEETING. • INCREASE IN- FREIGHTS..: - (By Telegraph.—Press Association;) . Ghristchuroh, December 3. The annual meeting of the Now Zealand shareholders in the New Zealand Shipping Company was held, this morning. The directors reported a dividend, of 16s: per share, carrying forward £21.555. The chairman said the profit of £209.116 made on t&s puroha.'is of-Hliri Federal' ■ Company's shares would bo carried- to reserve. It was announced that increased freights for the coming season would be on the basis of Ave-eighth&of a penny per/ pound for greasy wool and an incren©3 of about Eg. per ton on other cargo, • Thxj increase ;.was necessary because of the incrc.voo in .the cost of building ships and working,.expenses. Messrs. ,J. Anderson. J. R. Blair, and .F. E. Pyne were elected to the board.
