. PRIME MINISTER ENTERTAINED. (By Tcleiraph.— Press Association.) Auckland, December I.' The Auckland A. and P. Association's show was concluded yesterday, when fine weather wiis experienced. On People's Day the attendance was about 25,000, and the-cash gate takings for the three days totalled £1,091. Thfe Prime .Minister, who was the first president of the Auckland A and P. Association, was entertained by the association at a complimentary luncheon on the show grounds on Saturday. There was a good attendance of members, and Mr. Massey's health, which was proposed by the president of the association (Mr. 0. If. Phillips), was enthusiastically rexeived. Mr. Massey in responding, said that :the country had of late been under a cloud, but he hoped that it would reveal its silver lining very soon—long before his term of office came to ah end— (laughter and applause)—and then he would be able to fulfil his ambition of establishing an. agricultural college equal to those of Australia and other progressive countries.
