There woro heated scenes in the House of Commons over Colonel Griffith-Bosca-wen's amendment to the Welsh Disestablishment Bill, proposing to bisect the measure and treat disendowment and disestablishment separately. The amendment was defeated by 251 votes to IGB. . ■
