Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly sale at Palmerston North on Thursday, when there was a fair attendance of buyers, and a good yarding of stock, which met with a fair demand, and realised the following prices:— Sheep, medium shorn ewes, lte. Sd.; forward ewes, woolly, 15s. 7d.; ewo3 end lambs, all counted, lie. Id. Cattle: 15-month steers, £3 12s. 6d.; store cows, £3 25.; forward corns, £4 15s. to £4 17s. 6d.; yearling dairy heifers, £3 Us. 6d.; springing heifers, to £5 7s. 6d. Messrs.. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Hunterville sale, held on Tuesday:—We had small y&rdings of , sheep and cattle, which sold at the following rates:—Shorn hoggets, 12s. 2d.; mixed sheep, 14s. 6d.; yearling heifers, £2 7s. 6d. to £3 35.; forward cows, £4 10s.; bulls, 275.; 15-month steers, £3 7b. 6d. to £3 12s. fid. At Taihape, on Wednesday, wo had good yarding® of both sheep and cattle. There was a .good demand, and wo have to report a successful sale at the following prices:—Sheep: Woolly ewe hoggets, 19s. iOd.; aged ewes and lambs, all counted, Bs. ,6d. Cattle: Yearling heifers, £3 3s. 6d. to £3 Us. 6d.; small do., £2 75.; two-year P.A. heifers, £4 10s.; cows and ealvos, £4 IBs.; fat cows, £7 10s.; springing heifers, £4 15b. to £5 17s. 6d.; cows, to £5; yoarling steers, £3 Us.; 20-month Bteers, £3 10s. to £3 18s.; three-year steers, £5 15s. to, £6; bulls, ■ £3 ss. to £5 Is. Tho New Zealand Loon and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, and Seduced, Poldierstoß North, report:—At Palmerston North, on Thursday, we had a small entry of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. Good forward corns wore in demand, and sold well. Quotations:—Sheep: Fat, mixed sheen, 20s. Id.; woolly hoggets, 16s. 9d. Cattlo: Yearling steers (small), £2 125.; mixed yearlings, £2 155.; 16-month stoors, £3 6s. 6d.; yoarling heifers, small, £2 18s.; /15* month heifers, good, £4 6s. fid.: forward cows, £4 Bs., £4 13s. 6d„ £4 155., £3 17s. 6d„ £5; cows, with calves, £4 18s. 6d.; heifers in calf, £4 to £4 14s. 6d.; heifers with oalves, £4 17s. 6d.; /springing cows, £5 75.; fat cows, £6 13s. ■ Messrs, Abraham ■ and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston .
