The half-yearly report of- the Mount Lyoll Company shows a net profit l of £106,749, and a credit balance on tho profit and loss account of £550,563. Tho purchase of the Comstocl: property has been completed' at a total cost of £1u,176. Referring to North Ly-ell disaster, -the report states; that no estimate is possible of the probable financial loss, which is entirely uninsured.
