: .A S ATISFACTOKY' EXPERIMENT. The, trial shipment of eggs forwarded .by the Department of Agriculture to the Vancouver market is reported to.have been entirely satisfactory. The eggs' realised Is. 6d. per dozen, w t hich price, it is. expected, will' give a not return of Is. 3}d. The shipment reached the market in excellent order. Since the shipment made by the Department, ono private.shipment has been made to Vancouver, but any endeavour to establish a connection with the markets of British Columbia has been checked oiving to no space being now available for eggs on the steamers engaged in the trade.
