MADAME KIRKBY LUNN.
Madame Kirkby Lunn, the eminent English contralto, commences her Wellington season in the Town Hall on Tuesday evening next. The second concert will be ■nven on Thursday next, and the final concert on the Saturday following (Docember T). Messrs. J. and N. .fait wish to announce that the five and three shilling tickets are not on sale until Monday morning, at the Dresden Piano Company, nt present tho reserved ssats only being avnilnblo there. This announcement is made in response to the largo number of inquiries that have been made regarding these seats. The demand for seats is very considerable, and everything points to a. strikinglv successful season. During the Wellington season, Mr. William Murdoch, the solo pianist, will introduce many new pianoforte pieces, and as his metier is undoubtedly modern composers, this should prove something to anticipate. Mr. Andrew Shanks, the baritone, has several new songs of the rollicking type, and M. Andre do Tiibnupierre has been making a feature of v somo new works of Kreisler, the eminent violinist. These he will introduce here.
