BURMAH LIBEL CASE.

f' QUESTION IN PARLIAMENT. Br Telegraph—Prees Association-Copyright London, November 27. On a motion for the adjournment of tho House of Commons yesterday Mr. F. G. Kellaway (Liberal member for Bedford) drew attention to the case of Mr. Arnold, editor of tho Burmah "Critic," lately sentenced to imprisonment for alleged libel on an ex-army officer" and planter. Mr. Harold Baker, Financial UnderSecretary to tho War Office, replied that Mr. Arnold had lodged an appeal to the Privy Council. Tho case was being expedited, and if the appeal was allowed to proceed Mr. Arnold would be liberated until his case was heard.
