• NEW OBSTACLE TO REVISION. By Telegraph—Press AssocMon-Oopyright Now York, November 27. The newspapers considor that the death of Senator Raynor will seriously hamper tariff revision as it will reduce the Democratic majority in the Senate to one. The filling of the vacancy rests with the Governor of Maryland, who is likely to nominate a Republican, thus equalising, parties. Only a conservative revision is possible unless the Republican insurgents help the Democrats.
