MADAME KIRKBY LUNN.
The box plans for the season of concerts to be given in the Town Hall by the famous contralto, Madame -Kirkby Limn, opened yesterday morning at the Dresden Piano Company, and judging by the large demand for seats, the success of the concerts is assured. Madame Kirkby Lunn will reach Wellington on Monday afternoon, and will give her first concert, on Tuesday night, which will be followed by two further concerts on Thursday, December 5, and Saturday, December 7. It is probable that Madame Lunn's numbers, for'the opening concert will be the wellknown aria "Softly Awakes My Heart, from "Samson and Delilah," the opera in which she created the role of Delilah at Covcnt Garden in 1908; Brahm's 'Sapphic Ode " which has met with most remarkable success throughout the Australian tour; and Madame Lunn is certain to sin" "Three Fishers." In Auckland the famous singer seems to be adding to her already long list of triumphs. Mr. William Murdoch (solo pianist) Mr. Andrew Shanks (baritone), and M. Andre de Ribaupicrre'(violinist) have all shared m the success of the concerts.
