PROCEEDINGS IN DIVORCE. The Chief Justice (Sir Robert. Stout) heard an undefended petition in divorce, yesterday morning, when Constanza Aurelia Pillar Underwood prayed for dissolution of her marriage with Alexander Underwood oil the ground of desertion. Mr. A. Fair appeared for ilia petitioner. Evidence tendered showed that the marriago took place on July 7, 1902, and tho parties lived together in Australia and at Manukau, New Zealand. There wns one child of the marriage. In September 1907, respondent left his wile, and had not since returned to her, nor had he maintained her. , . His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be made ab.-'olute in three nnn(h.s the petitioner to have interim-custody of the child.
