SIEGE OF ADRIANOPLE. SEVERE FIGHTING REPORTED. . CHOLERA IN THE NORTH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. November 26,' 11.5 p.m.) London, November 26. • The "Daily News" correspondent at Semlin, Hungary, : reports that cholera is spreading in the north'of .Turkey, anil lias reached Bulgaria. , Tho news is strictly censored, but there are several hundred cases of cholera at Mustapha Pasha, near Adrianople, where the sanitary hospital arrangements are dangerously inadequate. A school has been converted into a hospital, and many of the patients are lying on the floor. The corpses often lie. untouched for twenty-four hours. The water of the Maritza. River is contaminated,' and cholera is, raging at Adrianople, the victims including the Servian besiegers. . The Bulgarian regulars have been sent from Adrianople,to Chatalja, and tho Servians and third-class reservists are maintaining the investment of the, town. The 'Servians are indignant at the censorship, which does not •; permit of the mention by them' that their largest guns of fifteen centimetres are . hopelessly • outranked by the great Turkish batteries. Tho Turks have repulsed every attempt to hold the Papastepe fort, and, displaying. desperate gallantry, have won. back ground, especially on the right bank of the Maritza, where General Kirkoif's seventh division . has retired ' four miles, and on the left bank, where the Servians have isustained. heavy losses. The Bulgarian .infantry on Thursday, after a fierce fight, entered Karagach, a suburb, of .Adrianople, and street fighting ensued; The: Bulgarians were eventually forced to retire. ■ • The correspondent estimates that there have' been twelve thousand .Bulgarian and, Servian casualties at Adiianople. '
