To-day Lady Islington will lay the foundationstone of the new ambulance station, and in the evening she will be the guest of the Y.W.C.A. at a concert an the Town Hall. The Hon. Jas. Allen will leave for Dunedin to-morrow or on Thursday, and will not return to Wellington until December- 11, two days prior to his departure for Sydney, en route to England.
