Tho South Island bowlers played their second match with Palmerston to-day, tho 6erles ending in a tie, each side scoring 128 points. Two rinks of southerners played two Terrace End rinks, winning easily. The bowlers departed on their journey south this afternoon.A presentation was made yesterday bo the lady members of the visting southern bowlers. The presentations, which were made by Mr. T. Bush (vice-president of the Northern Bowling Association) wero in the form of a silver-mounted scent bottle, each lady of the party beang made the recipient of one; Mr. Barnett (vicepresident of the New Zealand Bowling Association) responded cm behalf of tha ladies.
