Wednesday morning next at the Dresden. 1 * The celebrated contralto will , give three concerts here-an the Town Hall on Tuesday, December' 3, Thursday, stli, and Saturday, 7th. Thesa will be iier only appearances in Wellington. The visit is likely to prove the most notable musical event in recent years, for Madame Kirkby Lunn is recognised as the leading operatic contralto of tho present day. Possessed of CTeat charm, a magnificent appearance, .a. glorious voice, and a consummate artist, it is little wonder that she should be acolaimed by the most eminent critics of tho world as one of the- greatest artists on the platform to-day.
