EARTHQUAKE IN MEXICO.
DESTRUCTION OF A TOWN ' ' REPORTED. By Telegraph—Presa Association—Copyright Mexico' City, November 21. Reports indicate that the town of Acanbay has been destroyed by an. earthquake. Communication has been interrupted. , The deaths are said to number 100.' The reports cannot be verified. The maps at our disposal do not ' show any town of the riame of Acanbay. It is possible that the name has been mutilated in transmission, and that the reference is to the town 1 of Acambaro, 180 miles north-west of the City of Mexico, a place of 8000 inhabitants.
