BOXING.
PENDING CONTEST OFF. Mr. W. G. Talbot, secretary of the Wellington Boxing Association, received a cable message yesterday from Mr. .T. Ban(tho association's representative in Sydney) stating that tho arrangement with Hock Keys was off, and that he was writing in explanation by the first mail. Keys was to meet Hcgarty (of Timaru) at the Town Hall on December 11.
