o _ AUSTRALIAN CASE QUOTED. By Telegraph—Press Association--Copyright (Rec. November 21, 11.30 p.m.) London, November 21, Mr. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of tho Exchequer, in replying to Mr. R. L. Outhwaito, in the House of Commons, said worth of land had been cut up in Australia in the year ending Juno 30, 1011, as the result of the land tax, while the area under cultivation had increased by over two million acres eighteen months after the tax was first levied.
