The cage at tho North Mount Lyell mine, which jammed a few days ago while bringing two miners to the surfaeo with a body which they had. recovered, is still immovable. Tho fumes are too dangerous to permit of a descent to release it. It is hoped to recover tho body to-day to enable the inquest on the disaster to open. MAKING HOME HOMELIER.
