SHAKESPEARE MEMORIAL.
SYDNEY PROJECT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. November 20, 1 a.m.) Sydney, November 19. At a meeting in the city it has TiSen decided to raise a worthy memorial in connection with the Shakespeare tercentenary in 191G, and subscription lists have been opened. The State Governor,' Lord Chelmsford, presided, and' ho and others spoke' against the "erection of a statue. Tho committee intimated that the form of the memorial had not yet been decided upon. ■' '
