NEWCASTLE MINING DISPUTES. By Telegraph—Prees Association-Copyright , Sydney, November 18. A meeting of members of three of tho miners' lodges in the Newcastle district discussed the intolerable' position arising ;from the frequent stoppage at (he collieries, and resolved to continue to work in all circumstances until any dispute has been referred to tho ■ executive. A joint committee, representing'twenty-five lodges, has now resolved similarly, BUTCHERS ON STRIKE. Sydney, November 18. Tho mutton slaughtermen at Glebe Island are still on strike. Two hundred, men are affected. Two companies are working, the trouble being confined to the carcass butchers, who are association members. Suburban shops' are still in full working order, and the price of neat is unchanged. ..
