Association, which was brought to a close at tho Claudelands. chow grounds on Wednesday, vas a decided success, the entries for the gathering constituting a record tor tho association. We submitted a good yarding of shcop and cattle, all selling. Prices all round were slightly higher than lato sales. Wo quote: —Best wether hoggets, 18e. 10d.; owe hoggets, 16s. to 175.; mixed hoggets, 15a. sd. to 15s. 7d.; shorn hoggets, Us. sd. to 12g. 2d.] fat ewes, 17s. fid. to 189.} 6toro owos, 14s. 5d.; ewes with lambs, £1 to £1 35. ; fat lambs, 12a. 6d. Messrs. A. H. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., Feilding, report high prices ruling for both pigs and poultry at Friday's markot. For weaners and good stores particularly there was strong inquiry. .
