Five hundred Edinburgh students, and others, formed a procession and wrecked shops where placards alleging the existence of viviseotion cruelties were exhibited. A hundred police endeavoured to effect arrests, and a fieroe fight ensued, several on both sides being injured. Twenty-five students were arrested.
