£W DAMAGES AWARDED., (By Telegraph.—Press Association.). . , Auckland, November 1.5. ■ .The hearing of the claim brought by James Alexander Sneddon against the Auckland-Tramways, Limited, and W: S. Laurie and. Co,, for JE-100 general damages and JMI 13s. special .damages, for injuries alleged to have been received by the phini tiff as the result of a tram accident in Mount Eden Road on September 16, 1911, was concluded at the Supremo, Court today. After a retirement, of', an hour, the jury considered that' tho plaintiff was entitled to .£350 general .damages and JMO special damages. In 'reply to his Honour, the jury stated that the collision was due to a combination of neyligence on tho part of the motonhan and of the lorry driver.
