-— 0 ■ (Prom Our Spcclal Correspondent.) The wheel of a motor<-car, driven by «K ; collapsed on the C-artertOn Road this evening, and tho car overturned, Mr. Wardcll and another occupant, named Sir. Morton, were thrown out, and sustained severe' bruises and contusions. They were attended by Dr. Cowie, and removed to theif homes. The car was wrecked. The Rev. B. L. Thomas, tho* fiewlyappointed minister of the Congregational Church, was inducted at a service held inst eveiling. Tho ceremony was performed by the Rov. J. Reed Glasson, of Wellington. At a meeting of the Master ton Chamber of Commerce this afternoon, a letter .was read from Mr. W. C. Buchanan, M.P., covering a communication from the Minister for Justice to the effect that as no inconvenience had been shown ho could not see his way clear to instruct tho Stipendiary Magistrate to reside in the Wairarapa. The Chamber appointed a committee to nrake further representations to the Minister on the subjent.
