Y.W.C.A. Notes. Tho meetings which have been arranged for the World's Week of Prayer of Hie Y.W.C.A. are being well sustained. Tho Rev. W. Shirer conducted the openiiiK service last Sunday. It was well attended. Tho subsequent duye' services lnivo been taken by other leaders of the churches, and the Continents dwelt upon for intercession have !>eeu America, Asiu, and Africa. The tiieotiiie to-nieht will be conducted by the Rev. J. J. North when the subject for appeal will bo 'Australasia, 'i'fre small pamphlet published in Lomlon for this time of prayer is highly instructive. It contains brief surveys of the'work being done by the 7000 assopiations which exist to-day. In East end West Africa, as well as other countries, tho Y.W.CA. branches are entirely in connection with mission churches. Tho association, takes up work in tljeso foreign countries only at tho invitation of tho mission societies existing in auch places.
