CITY CONTROL MEETS. • The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met last night. Mi-. 11. P. Luckie presided. The Petone Club wrote withdrawing its junior team from' the - competition owing (it was stated) to Territorial parades keeping many of the-players'away. The club "condemned" the association on the score of ; alleged inconsideration in the matter of drawing up the fixtures. It was decided . to; point out to Petone that all clubs were affected by the parades, and to ask-tlie'club-'to reconsider its' decision. _ The 'Wednesday Association notified thatit had accepted the AVellingtori Association's offer of half the net profits, with a minimum guarantee of ,£75, for a match with' the South Melbourne team on December 26, 27, "and 23. JUNIOR ASSOCIATION. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Junior Cricket Association was held at the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening, Mr. W. F. Ponder in the chair. The principal business Was the allotting of fixtures for the second rouild of the three grades. The fixtures ' and' grounds are as follow:— ' Senior Division. . Evans Bay v. M'Clusky, ■Eglin, Mabm, Howitt, Fitzgerald, and the secretary. It was decided to start all senior matches next Saturday on the Ihippa Street Reserve/ weather ■ permitting. " Also, the junior' matches' will be' commenced next Saturday, providing grounds aro available. Tlie secretary desires to draw the notice of club secretaries to the fact that all- registration I f° rD l s must be in to the-league secretary ! by first mail on the- morning of the match; also to the rule stating that all score sheets must be in by the Tuesday, following the match. It was decided at ! the meeting to notify all senior clubs re: the possibility of sending away a representative team at Christmas.
