HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS.
' .WELLINGTON BOYS' COLLEGE, Capital' weather prevailed at the Wellington College" 'annual athletic sports .meeting, held on the College ground yesterday.' There . was a large/number of visitors. No records wero broken, though Heard, in the long jump, got within a quarter of an inch of the college record —20ft. The sports concluded at 5 p.m., when Mrs. Heine, wife of the a'cting-head-master, presented tho prizes. to the winners. Afternoon 1 tea was served in tho college. .' Tho Lady Prendergast Cup was won by ,H. V. Hiidretti, who' proved himself to bo.very smart over long- distances. L. Board, who captured several prizes,.won -Lord Ranfurly's. Cup.' . ,;'..
