Connolly, £2 os. 2d., costs 125.; D. Stewart jr, J. Mooro, M, costs 10s. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. • R. Welsby was ordered to pay Mary Sinclair 10s. 3d. by November 21. POLICE BUSINESS. , (Before Mr. W. G. Eiddell, S.Jf.) Alfred James Massey was charged with the theft of £11 os. lOd. from George William Morice. He was represented by Mr. O. R. Beere, and he stated that he had not had any intentions of dishonesty, but had been drinking. After hearing the evidence his Worship 6aid that Massey seemed to have treated Morice rather shabbily. He convicted him and ordered him to come up for Sentence when called upon. For insobriety James Burns was fined 10s. Charlea Hanson was fined £2 on a charge of his having assaulted Joseph M'Pherson.
