(By Teleeraph.— AssaclalTon.) • Dannevirka, ifoveniber 7. , The sitting of the Wellington District Methodist Synod Concluded'to-day. The report on church property stated . that three new. churches have been erected and opened during the year, at a total cost of JMI64, with a seating accommodation of 790. They were at Hastings, Ka- . rori, and Te Hbro.
