Dune'din, November 6. . At Burnside- to-day, only 147 fat. cattle were yarded. A few, of these were prime heavy bullocks, but. the. bulk of .'the' yarding consisted of. medium:'steers'.'an'd heifers. Owing to one or two outside butchers, competing, a very animated sale- resulted, and sales advanced 15s. to £1 per head Best bullocks. £17 17s.- 6d.; prime, £15 to , £16 lCs.; medium, to good, £12' to £14 10s ; light, £9 10s. to .£ll 10s.; best cows and heifers, to £13 7s. 6d.i prime; £9 10s. to .£11; medium, £8 -to £9 7s. 6d.; light, £6 1k..t0 £7 We. ■ . . . Fat sheep: 2910 penned, the majority being composed of prime heavy wethers, with an odd pen of prime ewes. Considering the size of the yarding, competition was animated, and prices for prime sheep were on a par with last week's rates,' but medium quality were slightly easier.
