The National Union of Suffrage Societies held a demonstration, in.the Albert Hall. A letter was read from lord Haldane in which ho expressed the conviction that nothing could keep back-the. cause of .woman's suffrage. Recent events were irrelevant to the merits of the controversy. . He hoped the Souse of Commons under-rated the folly of a few •fanatics. '■ '■ ■ .' 'Sir E.
