SEASON'S PROSPECTS IN AUCKLAND. .' Reports to hand from Auckland state that there is promise of an exceptionally heavy crop of strawberries there this season.' In almost every garden the plants are stated to bo looking strong and vigorous, and showing every indication of fruiting well. The area under cultivation this year is not as large as that of last year, last season being a particularly bad one, and consequently many .growers" gave ita the cultivation of strawberries arid went in for something el6e. This, however,-is not expected to affect the supply, as there is every indication 1 that the plants will bear" more plentifully, and compensate for the decreased area under cultivation; Provided bright, sunny weather prevails during the next week or two, strawberries should bo on the market about the end of this month. . . -
