(Before Dr. M'Arthur, S.M.) For insobriety, Michael M'Carthy was fined 10s., William Sullivan was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment,;. James O'Brien was fined 1.05.J and Evelyn Butloi? was sent to gaol for one month. ■ Ernest Stevens, who..was deemed to be an idle and disorderly person, tfas sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Sub-Inspector Sheeltan said that the nature of the offence was persistent begging. The man, he added, was known, as "the champion cadger." -
