CONCLUDING BUSINESS.
. SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES READY,. Cabinet dealt with the Supplementary Estimates on Saturday, and they are now Teady to be brought down as soon as the House ie ready for them, This will probably be about Tuesday evening, and, if so, they will be discussed by tho House on Wednesday, lit is hoped now that the Wednesday sitting will complete the session, but, if this hope is to be realised, the House will have a very strenuous three days. The Public Accounts Committee have yet to 'ropo.rt'o.n the working , of the State Guaranteed Advances Department, and it is not inconceivable that their report will provoko a great deal of discussion. An opportunity has been promised also for the House to the report of the Joshua Jones Claims ' Committee. In addition the Supplementary Estimates already mentioned have .to go through, and. there.,are about a store of Government Bills, mostly well advanced in tlieir progress, still on tho order paper. With the exception of one,, the Bills .. do not promise to be contentious, and the one is the Barmaids' Registration Bill. The House sat on Saturday..morning, to ■ put through the Public Works Estimates, but owing to the fact that committees are busy to-day, the sitting of the House will be at 2.30 p.m. Henceforth to tho end of ihe session Parliament will meet at 10.30 a.m. each day.
