Next Wednesday a poll of ratepayers will bo taken at Lower Hutt concerning a loan of JE333G, JCI2OO of which will be allocated to complete the sewerage, drainage, and' house connections in the borough, while the' remainder will be earmarked for general improvements. Should tho proposals bo .cnvi'ieu the work will be gone on with at once.
