SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present Indications are for moderate and •variable winds, but with westerly breezes predominating and increasing everywhere. Expect mild and changeable weather, with increasing haze and cioudiness, and rain in parte. The barometer i 3 unsteady with a falling tendency, and a westerly storm area will probably follow in about 36 hours. Moderate to strong westerly and southwesterly winds have prevailed, with fair to cloudy weather generally, but showery in parta. The barometer has fallen slightly. D. 0. BATES. Greytown, October 30.—Fine morning, but the sky becamo overcast in the afternoon; rain threatening. Masterton, October 30,—Fine weather today, but cloudy in the afternoon. Hastings, October 30. — I To-day. lias been warm and fine. At six o'clock heavy showers fell.
