CENTRAL MISSION.

THE ANNUAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Wellington Central Mission was held last evening, tho Rev. E. 0. Blamires presiding. Tho meeting took fclie form of a conversazione, and was well attended. _ ( The annual report stated that there had been a steady increase in membership. The circuit debt had been reduced from ,£9l to £U during tho year. There had been rccord responses to requests for financial help in every department of tho mission. During tho year, with tho assistance of the Brotherhood, a Sister of tho Poor had taken up special work. A boys' band of over 40 members had been formed, and other organisations in connection with the Mission reported excellent results. Tho band had paid several visits to the Hospital on Sunday afternoons, and had also .visited the homes of sick "persons. A girls' Bible class and a men's social and dobating society had been organised during tho year. Songs and recitations wero given by the Rev. G. S. Cook, , Messrs. Newton, Westerly, J. W. Gut, ani} Mrs. Tonks. The Rev. G. S. Cook gave an address, his subject being "The Power of Music." During the course of tho evening the band played several selections.
