Light fat owes, 20s. to 215.; ewes and lambs. 17s. 4d. to 22?. 6d.; cull hoggets, 12s. to 13a.; empty owes. Ha. 2d. to 12s. 9d.; wether hoggets, 15s. Id. PROPERTY AND STOCK SALES. Messrs. Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report on sales for the past week, as follow:—October 22: Wo held'a. very successful clearing sale on Jlr. M. P. Beck's property at Xorsewood. There was a large attendance of the public, and, ae the whole offering was in excellent order, bidding was spirited, nnd satisfactory prices were obtained. We offered the property of 8 acres, but bidding under tho hammer failed to reach tho vendor's idea, of value. Wednesday, October 23: Owing to tho very bad weather no stock camo forward for tho Makpluku stock sale, bnt, as advertised, wo held a salo of township sections on behalf of the Napier Brewery Co., Ltd. There was a good attendance of interested parties, and we were successful in disposing of three of the four sections offered at satisfactory prices. ■ Friday, October 25: We held the usual fortnightly sale in the Miller's Eoad Salcyards, and there was a largo attendance of the public. We had a very fair entry of cattle, but owing to. the bad weather only a few lines of sheep came forward, and most lots'changed hand;.
