JUBILEE EVENT. It is fifty years since the little. Anglican Church of St. John's. Trenlliam, was first opened. On Sunday morning last the epoch was marked bv the dedication of a beautiful .stained-glass window, the gift of the. parishioners and others interested in the church's welfare. The vicar (Rev. J. H. Sykes) prea.'.ii-.'d :\ very appropriate, sermon, whilst the choir rendered an anthem. The. sceno depicted by the window, which is set behind the altar, is that of (ha Saviour, St. John, and St. Paul, the former being after tho manner <f thp famous picture, "Lifeht of the Wγ.:ld," with the well-known text/ "l-> t ) ; .,M 1 stand at the door and knock." 71,e.attendance was unusually large.
