Tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Seduced, report:— We held our fortnightly salo at onr Levin yards on Friday, when wo offered an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattlo to a full attendance of buyers, who wore present from all tho surrounding districts. Wellington butchers were also in r/tendanco, and scoured several lots of cow and heifer beef. Our sale was a good one, and practically tho wholo of tho entry changed hands at prices satisfactory to vendors. Wo sold fat heifers (medium quality), to £6 17s. 6d.; fat cows- (lightweights), to £7; dairy cows, from £5 53. -to £6 Is.; 'yearling steers, from £2 18s. 6d. to £3 Bs.; yearling heifers, from £3 2s. 6d. to £3 Bs.; smaller sorts, from £2 13s. to £3; 15-month heifers, to £3 IDs.; 15months Holstcin-cross heifers, £4 12s. -6d. to £4 155.; store cows from £3 15s. to £4 75.; bulls, to £4 Is.
